“This song was written after pulling an all-nighter. We were hanging out and just decided that we weren’t ready for the night to end. It was a very spontaneous night full of adventures: we went to Disneyland, we took a trip to the beach, explored the sand, had deep conversations while sitting on a lifeguard tower [#32], and, to end the night, we went to Denny’s in the early morning. The spontaneity of the entire night is what made it so perfect.”
Underneath a starless sky
Where we sat
Just you and I
Everything was perfect with you
Walking on the empty sand
While our hearts were exploring
I found a love that healed all that was broken
Nothing that you do
Can change the way I feel
Excuse me for a moment
It’s too perfect to be real
I could stay out all night
Sharing breathless moments with you
That look in your eyes
Says everything you were trying to
Everything was at a standstill
While we stood on tower 32
I don’t know much but I know that
I could stay in this moment
Forever with you
Standing in the Disney Rain
A week before
So much has changed
I’ll ride shotgun
As long as you’re driving
I’d go anywhere
As long as you’re beside me
I could stay out all night
Sharing breathless moments with you
That look in your eyes
Says everything you were trying to
Everything was at a standstill
While we stood on tower 32
I don’t know much but I know that
I could stay in this moment
Forever with you
It’s true
you’re the one I’ve waited for
And this is our sky
So let’s find out it’s limits
I’ll take your hand
Let’s drive into the sunrise
I’ll make every effort to make this night last
I never want a moment to pass
Where you don’t know you’re the reason I can write this song
I could stay out all night
Sharing breathless moments with you
That look in your eyes
Says everything you were trying to
Everything was at a standstill
While we stood on tower 32
I don’t know much but I know that
I could stay in this moment
Forever with you
