Do you love looking at pets in costumes? Because I sure do.
I’m always the crazy one oohing and ahhhing over every picture online of any animal in a crazy costume. To be fair, I love pretty much any video or picture of animals found online. I recently read that Americans spent $330 million on pet Halloween costumes last year. I thought this sounded insane until I remembered the time I spent costuming my pets. For instance, when I was little and one of my dogs was just a tiny puppy, we dressed him up in the same pumpkin costume that I wore on my 1st Halloween. Then, unsurprisingly, I suppose, he peed on it. Should have made sure he was potty trained, huh?
Anyway, I’m sure there will be lots of incredible pet costumes on the streets this Halloween. I did some research on some of the more popular (and more interesting) pet costumes, so if you’re searching for an idea or are just plain curious, then read on!
1. Devil or Angel
Now, of course, whichever one you decide on depends on your dog’s personality. I think my dogs would compliment each other very well in these costumes.

2. Princess
For the pet that seems to think that the world revolves around her (and is right), this costume would work wonderfully. Who knows? Maybe she’ll find a matching prince.
3. The Delicious Food Of Your Choice
I don’t know about you guys, but I personally think the wiener dog in a hot dog costume is hilarious. Then again, I love puns in all their glory.

4. Another Animal
Having the dog spray-painted (using pet-safe spray, of course) as a tiger or skunk will always be a fun way to freak out your friends for a moment before they take a second look.
5. The “Doge” Meme
This never ceases to crack me up. If you’ve been on the internet at all in the last year or so, you’ve probably seen this meme. Use the opportunity!
6. The Fairytale Character Of Your Choice
This particular pup doesn’t seem too thrilled at playing Dorothy for a day, so why not dress her up as Toto next time?
7. The Famous Icon Of Your Choice
Marilyn Monroe is one of the more classic examples, but I have also seen dogs dressed up as Snooki and Katy Perry. Those outfits might be a bit risqué for some people, though.

8. Dog With A Blog
This new Disney show has debatable quality, but at least you could get a funny pun out of it by making a cardboard laptop front (similar to the one in the picture) and hanging it around your pal’s neck.
9. Teen Wolf
Anyone who associates with teenage girls on a regular basis has most likely at least heard of Teen Wolf. Thank goodness Halloween won’t be a full moon this year!

10. Nyan Cat
Yet another hilarious Internet costume. Now your kitty can be cute, rainbow, and funny all at the same time. So go buy those poptarts!
.
11. Ghost
An age old classic with an unexpected twist! This dog is ready for some candy, but just make sure it’s not chocolate.

12. Police Officer or Criminal
The dog finally caught the cat! And, in this case, handcuffed it and put it behind bars. Sentenced to 2 years for exceeding cuteness!
.
13. Superhero
This bunny deserves some extra carrots for the crime he fought today. Or maybe dress your cat up as Catwoman? No costume even required!

14. The Bride and Groom
I hope you like this costume because I sure do.

15. Minions (from Despicable Me)
I haven’t seen the movie, but I have seen pictures of these minions, and they are downright adorable. So, they are perfect, very fitting costumes for your cute, favorite members of the family!
*Disclaimer: When I was 9, I constantly dressed my cat (then a kitten) in American Girl Doll clothing. Now, she despises me and won’t go anywhere near me. So when you’re dressing up your pet, if they try to bite or scratch you violently, maybe you should listen to him or her. Learn from my mistakes, and maybe your pet will still love you.
