painting and poem by Alyssa Anne Icaro
.
We once dreamed of a fairy tale
Once thought that love is fair
At some point we proved it was
Until someone finally broke us
.
At first it was perfect
Thinking it was an answered prayer
But then things went wrong
.
And you don’t know how to go on
We may again find happiness
And become a bit careless
But sometimes we are still clueless
.
That our hearts are made of glasses
We tried and tried
And our hearts got dried
We loved and loved
And our wounds gone bad
.
