New beginnings,
But nothing’s really changed.
I am still trapped in my void.
In my world.
In my own mind.
My words are meaningless,
Like a grain of sand on the vast savanna.
The wind blows me over.
I haven’t the will to stay rooted.
I try to find hearty ground,
But I am unwanted.
By nature,
By people,
By myself.
So Earth,
Now is your chance.
Swallow me whole.
