If you have been sitting around and wishing for an awesome new recipe to try, then look no further. These sweet and tangy bars have been my go-to snack for countless girls’ nights, family vacations, and movie marathons since high school. I will warn you, though: they are highly addictive. I recommend doubling the amounts below because otherwise you’ll only wish you’d made more.
What you will need:
1. Mixing bowl
2. Measuring cups
3. 8×8 inch baking pan
4. Mixing implement of choice.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup whole flour
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 1 ¼ cup (unfrozen & washed) cranberries
- ¾ cup milk chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Beat eggs in mixing bowl for 1-2 minutes (until they are pale yellow and have a thick consistency)
- Gradually add in sugar, flour, and butter, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Stir in cranberries and chocolate chips. Admire your creation.
- Cook 40-45 minutes.
- Cool. Cut. Eat. Enjoy!
