Dear Future Me,
So, what’s it like? You must’ve gotten into a good college and gotten a good job and changed the world, right? At least, I hope so. We had everything planned out — graduate college and MIT with a major in quantum physics, become an aerospace engineer at NASA, and get the girl doing it. You’ve got it all figured out.
I’m guessing that didn’t happen. I’m already starting to see that things just don’t end up that way. We can’t control everything — we can do the best we can, try to reach our goals, then let the chips fall where they may. You might not be a famous scientist. You might be a writer. Or a doctor. Or maybe you’re that homeless man that sleeps on the bridge near school.
But hey, you can always try, right?
