Welcome, Germies, to this month’s writing challenge! This challenge will begin today and will end February 28th. However, you are welcome to come back anytime to complete the challenge and submit it below in the comments section. We will pick a few of our favorites that are submitted during this month, though, and they will be featured in our Lit section.
Writing Challenge:
– Write an object lesson that is 1,000 words or less.
– You will be giving life to an inanimate object. The object you choose will become the subject of your short story.
– Your object can be anything: a pencil, a book, sunglasses, graffiti, a party cup, a tree, etc. You can walk around your house, your neighborhood, and even your school for inspiration. Look at objects and details and simply wonder about their background, their perspective, their story. Get creative!
