hearts captured, minds enraptured;
things that matter, careless natter.
all in flight, such a height;
fight or flight, thrill or fright?
lost my head, heart is dead;
cheeks burn red, full of dread;
turbulent skies, fearful eyes.
swallowing lies, losing ties.
write on white, into the night;
a new rhyme, the trickle of time.
mull things over, still a rover;
search all over, just can’t solve her.
heart is pounding, music astounding;
nothing grounding, the world is hounding.
life goes on, water flows on.
same clothes on, who knows wrong?
