The 2015 application for the Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship is available now.
This outstanding scholarship opportunity has many, MANY requirements, and to be eligible you need to meet all of them:
- You must have caddied before for at least 2 years, and you must have done it well.
- Your grades have to be excellent, with an above B average in college preparatory courses; plus, you need to take the ACT.
- You must really need the financial assistance.
- You must have a wonderful character, with integrity and wonderful leadership skills.

Let’s get to the meat of the subject:
Most of the application will be filled out online, and you will need to create a username and password so that they can save the application. If you want some of my advice, do NOT make up some crazy usernames because, after all, this is a scholarship revolving around golf. This is a serious sport and a serious scholarship, so get your head in the game.
All signed and submitted applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee, and preference will be given to people who submit their applications by September 30, 2015. So, take some time to review this highly important information, and follow all of the directions carefully so that the scholarship committee will love you.
This caddie scholarship is a full housing and tuition scholarship, and it lasts for four years. And, get this, 800 kids from around the country can receive this scholarship every year. Wow! That’s a lot of money for a lot of students.
