Denim is a fashion staple. You’ve most likely worn denim sometime in your life. If you haven’t, you’re probably Amish. Each new fall brings a new set of trends and styles you can try. To kick off the cool weather, here are 5 amazing trends you should be dying or praying to try:
Overall Shorts
I love this style paired with a floral crop top and combat boots. This look is wonderful for going out and hanging with your friends, and it’s great because it doesn’t call for a ton of extra steps. I would leave your hair natural and down or up in a high pony tail, and just add some light foundation with your favorite eyeliner. Grab your favorite pair of sunglasses or a long necklace, and you’re ready to go. You can find some amazing styles at Forever 21’s website.
Embroidered cut-off shorts
Shorts like these can look flawless with a plain tank top, booties, and an oversized cardigan to give it a fall-ish feel. When wearing embroidered shorts, you can go for a comfier feel. Pull your hair back in a high bun and, if you wear glasses, put them on. A braid would also look good with this. Grab your favorite long purse, and you’re set and ready to go to the concert or festival nearest to you. I am absolutely in love with this pair from Express.
Button-down
I love, love, love, love my denim button-down, and it is for sure one of my go-to pieces. A great fall look for this style is pairing it with patterned leggings, a scarf, and combat boots. This look is super cute with minimal effort, like when you are running late for school, or meeting friends for a casual coffee date. If you have time, curling your hair would look great with this, but I am also a huge fan of natural locks, so don’t be afraid to grab this outfit and go. Target is a great place to look for an inexpensive option of such a staple style.
Colored Jeggings
Jeggings are so in right now. With the look of jeans and the comfort of leggings, who doesn’t love them? For fall, I am really liking colored jeggings in shades like burgundy, dark teal, and grey. These look amazing with a neutral-colored tunic and clean white shoes or with your go-to black flats. Pull the front part of your hair back and add a chunky necklace for an extra dimension in your look. This would look great at a friend’s birthday party or at a fall bonfire. American Eagle has some awesome styles.
Ripped boyfriend Jeans
The most wonderful casual jeans anywhere. They are great for a cute I-look-this-good-without-really-trying look. They look lovely with a baseball Tee-style shirt or V-neck. Add Converse or Keds, braid your hair, and prepare yourself for feeling artsy and creative all day. This look is great for any downtown explorations or sports games you are planning to attend. Urban Outfitters has a great pair.
