These lemon bars are one of my favorite desserts (and that’s coming from a chocoholic!). They’re tangy and sweet with a delicious crust. The recipe below makes about 15–20 bars, but that of course depends on how you cut it (the bigger the pieces, the better!).
Crust
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Step 1: Melt butter

Step 2: Add flour and powdered sugar
Step 3: Spread in 9×13 pan

Step 4: Bake 350° for 20 minutes

Filling
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs (beaten)
- 6 tbls lemon juice
- 4 tbls flour
- 1 tsp baking power
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups sugar
Step 1: Add lemon juice to beaten eggs

Step 2: Add dry ingredients
.
Step 3: Pour on hot crust and bake 25 minutes more

Step 4: Sprinkle with powdered sugar
