The reality TV series What Would You Do? — which pits actors against real people in constructed scenarios to basically weed out the good people from the douchebags — has made me cry, and cry hard. This isn’t an uncommon occurrence, what with this show’s predilections for having strangers save other people out of the goodness of their hearts.
However, this episode was particularly touching given the taboo and, frankly, disgust our country has against poor people, poor women, and food stamps. Seeing multiple people rally around to aid, protect, and defend the less fortunate is so needed in this day and age.
