For most, the 2016–2017 school year has been in session for a little under a month. Whether you are a college or high school student, back-to-school shopping is definitely stressful, so there may be some must-have accessories you missed when raiding the aisles of your go-to stores. Here are five necessities that will help you survive this school year.

S’well Water Bottle

Get rid of the multiple plastic water bottles you lug to school on the daily, and give into the S’well water bottle trend. This uniquely designed bottle keeps drinks drinks cold for 24 hours and warm for 12. S’well bottles are perfect for water and hot coffee! Not only do S’well water bottles aid in saving the environment, but the patterns on the bottles are also unlike any other.

Daily Planner

A daily planner is simply a lifesaver. Jot down homework, meetings, and other important dates into your planner. You will be organized and never forget where you need to be and what you need to get done. Brands like Kate Spade have affordable and adorable planners that you will not want to be without this school year.

Portable Charger

Sometimes we either forget or don’t have time to charge our smartphones during the night or in the morning before school. Portable chargers are the perfect solution to this ongoing problem. Charge your portable charger at home, throw it in your backpack, and plug your phone into it during class when needed. The days of having a completely dead iPhone are over.

Pencil Case

This may seem a tad obvious, but every student should have a trusty pencil case to keep their writing implements in one place. It’s the worst when you lose a pen or highlighter. Pencil cases can also be used to store makeup, money, or other essentials in your backpack for easy access.

Earbuds, in my opinion, are used more in school than at home. If you’re assigned to watch a video in class, or simply want to listen to music when doing homework, earbuds will be your best friend. Earbuds are perfectly transportable, and they don’t take up a lot of space as opposed to actual headphones.
