On the days that I feel as though I am not
worthy of being loved, I will strive
to love myself more than ever.
I will remind myself that my eyes are bluer
than sapphires, and my heart as red as a rose.
I know that at least one person on this
troubled Earth loves me for everything that I am.
All the good and all the bad; and it’s perfectly fine
if that person happens to be myself.
I deserve each ounce of love that the world has to offer,
and I know if I show myself every bit of love
that I have within me, the universe will do the same.
