Look up
through the rippled surface
it’s so still
so quiet,
the smudged green of the trees blends in with the blue pastel sky above,
the sunlight slanting in dances around you,
and holding your breath doesn’t seem so impossible anymore,
not when you look up
the tiny air bubbles escape from your lips floating up towards the blue like rain drops in reverse,
Resist the pull of the outer world which compels you to break the surface,
stay under
The blurry view is much prettier
Than the one in full detail.
