Singer and actress Hilary Duff (who you may know as Lizzie McGuire, and if you don’t, shame on you) has released a new single, “Sparks,” to promote her new album. Intercut throughout the music video are shots from dates that she went on by joining Tindr, the dating app, which lent a sense of uniqueness to the video. The song is overwhelmingly pop and whistle-heavy, but the whole effect is fun and light, and it showcases Duff’s new look and fresh comeback onto the music scene. If the rest of the album is like “Sparks,” then this proud owner of Duff’s first album, Metamorphosis, will be the first in line.
