Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi, two members of America’s favorite a capella group, Pentatonix, have their own Youtube channel, and we are all the better for it. In this case, we are specifically better for their newest video: “Pop Goes Broadway.” For all you theater nerds out there (guilty), this video is a beautiful display of the tropes that make Broadway so dear to our hearts: the pacing, the dramatic turns, the character interaction. It’s all here, and it’s all set to pop music that somehow works together. Trust me, it’s great, and I’m not even saying this as the Pentatonix super-fan I so truly am.
