Siblings Julianne Hough and Derek Hough are both professional dancers. They have both participated in the show Dancing with the Stars, and Julianne has since gone on to make movies and pursue music.

A few months ago, they once again danced together on Dancing with the Stars, showcasing their talents and tugging on our heart strings as they told a beautiful story through dance, accompanied by Sia singing “Elastic Heart” live.

Dance and music make a magical combination, and they make emotions almost tangible when telling a story together. The struggle and the passion depicted in this particular story is evident, and I love the parallel stories being shown — the young (and amazingly talented) dancers in the room on the left symbolizing Julianne and Derek when they were kids.
