Okay Germ readers, I’m going to try and contain all of my excitement for this because there is just SO much of it. Here goes nothing.
The Maze Runner is a thrilling trilogy written by James Dashner. It is part sci-fi, part reality. They are very realistic characters and emotional relationships put into this entirely strange world. The series proceeds as follows: The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, and then The Death Cure. (There is also a prequel called The Kill Order.) I devoured the first novel and am currently working on the second, and I highly recommend the read. It’s short and exciting; you won’t regret it.
While I am a firm believer in reading the book before seeing the movie, I understand if you are wary about starting another trilogy (considering the recent popularity of The Hunger Games and Divergent trilogies), but I promise that this is so worth it!
