John Legend and Common’s song “Glory,” from the movie Selma, won the award for Best Original Song last night at the Academy Awards. Their performance of the song (which occurred before they won) was met with a standing ovation and many tears from the audience members.

Besides the song being amazing overall, you can’t go wrong with a gospel choir as backup singers. Add that with the theme of unity, and I’m a goner.
