Welcome, Germies, to this month’s writing challenge! This challenge will begin today and will end December 31st. However, you are welcome to come back anytime to complete the challenge and submit it below in the comments section. We will pick a few of our favorites that are submitted during this month, though, and they will be featured in our Lit section.
Writing Challenge:
– Write a 100-word story. It must be 100 words exactly, no more and no less. This does not include the title.
- There must be a setting.
- There must be at least one character.
- There must be some conflict. (man vs. man; man vs. self; man vs. nature)
– Fitting with Germ’s book of the month, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, your story must include a lamppost in the snow.
Whether your lamppost is in another world, a forbidden forest, an ancient village, or modern day is up to you. Your imagination is the limit!
