Hello, Germies! Credit for this month’s writing challenge goes to one of Germ’s readers: Emily. Thank you, Emily, for sharing your idea with us! The challenge will begin today and will end July 31st. However, you are welcome to come back anytime to complete the challenge and submit it below in the comments section. We will pick a few of our favorites that are submitted during this month, though, and they will be featured in our Lit section.
Writing Challenge:
–Write a short story that is no longer than 300 words.
–Your story must be based on a certain part of a song of your choice.
- For instance, your story can be inspired by the chorus or simply by a line in the song that you think harbors creative potential.
- At the top of your story, be sure to include the chosen lyrics as well as the name of the song and the artist. (This will not count toward your 300-word limit.)
Submitting:
