It’s SO RARE to find a campaign aimed at empowering women that is also realistic and inclusive, but it seems that it may have finally arrived!

This Girl Can is a national campaign aimed at empowering girls and women to get healthy and active without being concerned about what they look like. Their video campaign is filled with real women in all shapes, sizes, and nationalities working hard and not giving a damn about how they look while they do it.
As anyone who has seen a Nike ad can attest, women in workout ads don’t sweat (unless it’s made of gatorade), don’t jiggle, and have perfectly straightened hair. The women of This Girl Can are red-faced, sweating, frizzy-haired, and rocking the cellulite. And from one girl to another, it is a breath of fresh air to see someone who looks like me unapologetically working her butt off and not letting anybody tell her otherwise.
