He had a way with words that made you feel like clouds,
and not pretty fluffy clouds,
but dark, angry, unstable clouds.
He could tear you apart with a single touch,
though it was never in his intentions.

But making you cry was never in his intentions either,
but it seemed to happen every night.
And when your eyelids fluttered open in the morning,
all you could think about was how his opened so abruptly,
and it was never a scary thing
because you could see all the moons and stars in his eyes
because his eyes were galaxies.
but to make you fall head over heels?
No, that was never in his intentions.

And when there were no messages for 3 days
and no reply for a week,
you started to overdose on nostalgia
and weep tears of anguish.
You remembered every story he ever told
and every freckle on his face.

And maybe that was his intention

To make you go crazy
by never touching your skin again.
