One of the too many pictures I took

Even though I’ve lived in Southern California my entire life, this past October was the first time that I’d ever been to San Francisco; and, more importantly, it was my first time seeing the Golden Gate Bridge. It was partially covered in fog (or was that smog?) most of the time, but it was magnificent, nonetheless.

This was near our starting point. It was quite the walk, but it was definitely worth it.
Our starting point. It was quite the walk, but it was definitely worth it.

The journey itself to San Fran was the best part, though, since I was able to have a mini road trip with great friends. Unfortunately for them, they had to put up with me taking too many pictures of the bridge each time we got a little closer to it.

Even though I was so glad to finally be able to  see this gorgeous bridge in person, I was even more grateful that I was able to share the experience with some of the best people I know.

The only thing better than wandering is wandering with the right friends.
